Hello,

Your LDL is high at 170. The optimal level should be less than 100mg/dl. People with a high level of LDL is at higher risk for heart attack and strokes. For levels of LDL, please see : http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml;jsessionid=G3EDPXEDEEROYCQFCXQCCZQ?identifier=183

Your ALT level is also quite high. The normal levels should be 4 - 36 U/L. ALT is normally released by the liver in small amounts. It is also released in small amounts by the heart and the kidneys. But if the liver is damaged due to any cause, the levels may go high. Please see : http://www.webmd.com/hw/lab_tests/hw20645.asp

Your high level of both the enzymes mean that you have a serious issue about your liver. You are also at a high risk for heart problems.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

Since your cholesterol is so high, you fall into the high risk category of patients. You cannot wait for 4 weeks to see a doctor. You need immediate treatment to decrease the cholesterol levels. Plus, you also need further tests to check for the status of the heart. An ECG, in the resting phase and an exercise ECG are needed to see if any damage has already occured.

You need examination, tests and treatment as soon as possible. Please do not wait for 4 weeks.

I hope this helps.
