Dear Customer (name blocked for privacy),
Neutrophils levels vary with age. They are a type of white blood cell that helps to fight infection and antigens. Normal range is approximately 50 to 60 percent. A higher than normal level would indicate an active infection.
The MPV stands for Mean Platelet Volume. It is a measurement of the average size of your platelets. Normal MPV levels is 7 to 11 fL. so you are really not that low. Sometimes a low MPV can be associated with inflammatory bowel disease. (Actually, a HIGHER than normal MPV can indicate a higher risk for heart disease or stroke, so to be at a lower level is actuallly safer for you!)
The swollen inguinal (groin) lymphs definitely need to be re-evaluated along with repeat tests of full CBC with differential.
