Question about Hepatitis Treatment
Sent to Health Experts December 27 04:53 PM

My friend tells me that he contracted hepatitis and had to go to the hospital right away to have a dangerous procedure done: he describes it as follows:
I underwent a complete replacement of my blood with a small amount of whole blood plus the balance of white corpuscles, while my body temperature was reduced to approx. 65 degrees. I was physically dead for 4 hours, while my brain was kept alive. The heart arteries were disconnected, and an artificial heart was used. On completion. the heart was reattached and I was revived, and successfully brought back to life.
What he describes doesn’t seem real and I’m very skeptical that he went through this procedure, especially because he was released the next day. Can you tell me if such a procedure exists for hepatitis patients? He tells me that he has an immune disorder so that’s why the dangerous procedure was needed. Thanks for your help.

I believe your friend has some major problems but they are not medical.  No one would go through a proceedure like that and be relaesed the next day.  He would have had a major cardiac proceedure to "disconnect the arteries and reconnect them."  This is not same day surgery.  I'm afraid he's either lying or delusional.
