ACCEPTED Check Mark

V- Fib stands for Ventricular fibrillation and V-tach means Ventricular tachycardia. Both of these are arrhythmias of heart resulting in rapid beating and vibration of heart chambers. The heart has four chambers, and the two of the larger ones are called ventricles that pump the blood into the entire body. These can occur as a terminal event in many patients and can be lethal in many cases.
