Dear sir,
Thank for your reply, and for your patience as well. A couple things come to mind. The first was varicose veins, as the can be painful, and the pain is relieved a bit by elevating them and wearing compression stockings. I kind of prefer the trouser socks that are sold at the drugstore, they seem to be less constricting and nobody knows you are wearing them. I know you said you don't think these are the culprit, so that leads me to my next thought, a peripheral aneurysm. It is an outpouching of an artery in the leg, due to a weakened wall. It forms a blister of sorts. It can be diagnosed by an ultrasound. If this is the problem, it is not serious in it doesn't rupture. On the other side, if it does, it can cause massive bleeding. Have you had an ultrasound of your leg? If not, it might be a good idea. It will help to diagnose these "bumps." Also, if aneurysms run in your family, or if you have a history of high blood pressure, the pain in your calves could be a warning sign to an abdominal aneurysm.
I hope this helps you, if not, please let me know and I will investigate this further.
