My mother in law has a defib/pacemaker for the bottom of her heart that wasn't working correctly and about 2 months ago found out that the top of her heart was working too fast. The PAC prescibed a medication of which was causing her kidneys not to work right. Now she has been told her kidneys are failing. How is it possible after two months for this to happen? Or, was is it more likely that due to her heart condition, of which has been ongoing, is what could have lead to this kidney failure? Are symtoms of kidney failure to include lack of energy, inability to walk any sort of distance of a few feet, and bloatedness? Or do the first two symptons sounds more like it is her heart condition. I know one can't diagnose but I'm not convinced its all kidney related. Thank you.
