For the past two weeks, I have had blood when having a bowel movement. Now, I notice bloody, mucous floating when I hve a bowel movement. There is also a significant amount of bright red blood at the bottom of the toilet. My anus is sore I"m hoping it's just hemmoroids or my mother said maybe a fisher. What do you think?

Bleeding from the anal area can be due to rectal_bleeding or Gastrointestinal Bleeding

(click the links above for more information)

Another possible reason could be hemorrhoids as well.

bright red blood usually suggest that the blood is coming from the lower part of the GI tract (large bowel or rectum).

If there is more than 2 tablespoons of blood, you need to be seen. Otherwise, you can also get a mirror and try to look around the anal area and see if you can see any hemorrhoids which can either be external or internal.

There is no way of knowing as far as the amount, other than is there a lot, or just a bit. Is there also a lot when you wipe? Or does it leak onto your underwear as well? This can give an indication of too much. If the bottom of the whole toilet is covered, then I would say this is too much. You also may need to do a stool analysis as well. But once you are seen by a Gastroenterologist, they will have a clearer picture of what is going on. Which a colonoscopy may need to be done as well. But still with the "2 weeks" I would get checked out at this point.

I don't know your overall health etc., however, I don't think it's anything "serious" but as you know, you need to have this checked out. There are too many thing it could be to even begin to narrow this down is impossible. It may be hemorrhoid related. It's good that it's not blood flowing from the rectum area. Just a bit concerning since it's been a few weeks. Most common you may be looking at is an infection, which may be causing inflammation etc. (just because of the mucus)

But don't panic, generally we panic, just to find out in the end, it was for nothing serious. I am glad you will be getting check out.

As I stated in the first reply, if you can get a mirror, and see if you see anything around the anal area, this can help give you some ideas as well.

Here is a site on hemorrhoids as well, which may help.
