No, I have none of the symptoms. However, no matter how many times I wipe I still have residual that leaves a stain in my underwear.

HI

It is the irritation of the skin at the exit of the rectum, known as the anus.

It is generally caused by irritating chemicals in the foods , such as are found in spices, hot sauces, and peppers. It also can be caused by the irritation of frequent liquid stools, diarrhea, or escape of small amounts of stool.

Pinworms, hemorrhoids, tears of the anal skin (fissures) can also cause itching & swelling over anus.

Following tips wil help you greatly in relieffrom burning sensation & itching:

1.Clean and dry the anus thoroughly.

2.Avoid leaving soap in the anal area.

3. Cleaning should include gentle showering without direct rubbing or irritation of the skin with either the washcloth or towel.

4.After bowel movements, moist pads should be used for cleaning the anus instead of toilet paper.

5 Lanacane Maximum Strength contains -.Benzocaine 5% . It is to be applied locally over anal surroundings. It is local anaesthetic.
