Just this morning i noticed a small, purple tinted lump on the rim of my anus. It does not itch, burn, or bleed. Throughout the day though I have felt a bit of pressure, such as sitting at the computer for more than 20 minutes or when i try to us the bathroom. I have been constipated or at least not able to use the bathroom for a couple days at a time. Actually it seems like since i noticed this lump i have been in the bathroom more today than all week. I do believe this is a small hemrrhoid but im not sure. I do have a family history of hemorrhoids, rectal colitis and chrons on my fathers side of the family. I am only 20 yrs old and have been trying to get all the information i can about these things before i see a doc. Please let me know if you beleive this to be a hemorrhoid. And also what I can do about it. I understand Prep H will help, but does that make it go away? Also will i be prone to getting this again or is it just pressure and stress? Please let me know all you can.
