Hi, Customer (name blocked for privacy) , my main advice is that you consult a gastroenterologist specialist .
You do not necessarily need having nausea or vomiting to diagnose the presence of a gastric ulcer .
You could have a gastritis ( stomach lining inflammation ) , this condition over time could have gotten worse , developing a gastric ulcer ( opened sore) .
However , the only way to really diagnose these conditions ,is doing an Endoscopy .
In relation to the red little flecks , this could be a sign of lower gastrointestinal bleeding ( this could be caused by simple conditions like Hemorrhoids or more complex conditions like : intestinal dilated blood vessels or the presence of an Intraintestinal Mass ) .
Any of these conditions heal on their own , you need to consult a Gastroenterologist who will perform several tests like ( endoscopy , abdomen X-rays , stool examination , blood tests and colonoscopy ) .
With these tests , your doctor will be able to determine the cause of your symptoms to give you the appropriate treatment .
