Hello I have a question. My ball sack (the right one) has been placing itself inside me (you know the position it normally gets in during sex) and then back now for several days. I haven’t really been paying attention to it but it has done it back and forth so many times that it is starting to hurt. What could this mean? Is this a problem I should be worried about?

Optional Information:
Male , Age: 31

Already Tried:
I tried having sex. My wife is pregnant so we haven't had it in a while. I thought that was causing the problem but it happened again (although it is better)

What can be done if I do have a hernia? And what other symptoms typically accompany a hernia?

A hernia would require surgery. It is a tear in the connective tissue that keeps everything where it belongs. Structures can 'slide' through the tear. Occasionally they can get stuck and 'strangulate' cutting off the blood supply to the area and creating a major problem. Pain is generally a sign with a hernia, but movement of the normal structures of the scrotum would be a big tip off. Your family doctor can determine if you need to see a surgeon.
