I had extensive surgery about 4 years ago when they put mesh in for support. I acquired a additional hernia below that area and the doctor had hoped to do laproscopic surgery and catch it up in the netting. Unfortunately my intestines had grown through the mesh and that as well as some intestines had to be removed. This time they put polyproplene in for a stabilizer. I haven't been back to my doctor but am sure I have a new hernia below the repaired again. What can I do to stop this from reaccuring again?
