I had a hernia operation on my right side but I am still having pain. I had a ct scan and it showed prominent ovaries and mild infiltration of the fat in right inguinal region what does this mean?

Hello Yes it was an inguianl hernia repair and the report did say mild infiltration of the fat in the right inguinal region

Hi.

That is an unusual report - infiltration usually means infiltration by "something" and few i,f any ,things will infiltrate the inguinal fat.

You need to speak to the radiologist who did your scan to get some more information.

It also says consistent with post operative change from prior hernia repair
