I am having a sharp burning pain in my abdomen about 2 inches to the left of my belly button and about .5 inches down. It started 5 days ago and has gotten worse every day. It is not constant, but occurs mostly when I stand up. At times it brings me to the floor. It feels very near the front of my stomach. almost superficial, like a muscle injury, but it has gotten so much worse so quickly and I have been doing nothing but sitting around so it doesn't hurt. I was in the er all night Friday, they did a pelvic exam, and ultrasounds to rule out ovary or fallopian tube issues, everything looked fine. They were fairly certain they had ruled out anything life threatening. They mentioned kidney stones and a hernia, but didn't do any tests for them. I have been constipated for about a week, but I have been drinking lots of coffee and taking lots of fiber and I have been pretty regular the last few days and my condition has worsened. I am new in town and am not able to get into a dr.
