REPLIED Check Mark

From the research I have done, it would appear that anyone 14 and over can consent to their own HIV test. The best thing for you to do would be to ask your pediatrician before having the test just to be sure. Laws do vary by state.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Yes, this is true in some states. In most states anyone 14 and over can do it. If you look at the link I gave you in my last reply and scroll down to read #7 you'll see that it's any age as well in NY. However, in CA it is 12 and over. Here is that link http://www.ppacca.org/site/pp.asp?c=kuJYJeO4F&b=139575

I think the most important thing here is that you are 15 and therefore above the 12 or 14 limit that some states have. And if your state has no limit, then you'll have no problem getting the test.

Since this is the information you wanted and was given in my last reply consider checking accept for my efforts to help you.

Best of luck.
