Some additional information will help us to help you better.
Did you contract the HIV virus during, or because of, the hip surgery
(such as from a blood transfusion)? If not, when were you
diagnosed with HIV? And when were you diagnosed with AIDS (as
opposed to having the HIV virus with no symptoms)?
Are you currently receiving treatment/medication for HIV/AIDS? If
so, please describe. Is your surgeon as well as your primary care
physician aware of your post-surgery symptomology (e.g. sleeping all
the time, not gaining weight, etc.)?
One is the last time you sell your surgeon? Your other doctor(s)? How often do you see your physician(s)?
What is your current living situation? Are you in some sort of
care facility or are you in your own home or apartment? If you
are not living in a facility, do you live by yourself, or does anyone
else live with you?
if you are living at home, are you receiving Home Health or Hospice or
some sort of other in-home follow-up nursing/medical care? Are
in-home meals (such as Meals On Wheels) being provided?
Providing this information, as well as any other relevant details, will
help us to better evaluate your situation and recommend
resources/solutions to you.
Good Luck!
