my bestfriend who is ingaging in sexual activity with a girl who was once a bi-sexual has asked me several questions over the phone, which I can not answer and thought this would be a good place to help him get some answers. The following are questions he asked, and I can not answer as I have no experience or knowledge of the things. Does his partner have aids or hiv, and is there anyway to know without going to a dr for tests? Is it possible for to get aids/hiv from animals(this has nothing to do with her, he simple wondered and I didn't know if it was true or if it was a myth). He has told me she only had one sexual confrontation with the same sex. If she has the virus how long until some affects are present(the same sex encounter took place several years ago)? He had asked some other questions about aids and hiv which i do not remember, can anyone provide information or insight on the subject. I myself have never really been too concerned with the topic.
