This runs about the same possiblity as catching genital herpes as the virus cannot live outside the body and cannot be transferred through the air. In the amount of time it takes for one patient to be examined and another put into the same room and be seen by the doctor chances are rare that the virus would still be viable. And as long as they are sanitizing the utensils then the virus would not be able to withstand the sanitation process. The virus can only survive minutes outside of the body and has to be transferred through body fluids so the chances of aquiring HIV this way would be highly rare.
