Please help me. I want to move on with life. Last sept, (9/13/05) I had a one night stand with a pros. SInce then, I have been through a lot of stress and anxiety. Here is my testing history :

hiv : neg anti body after 339 days. Neg hiv pcr by dna after 43 days and 70 days.
hep b : neg antibody after 84 days,195 days and 248 days.
hep c : neg antibody after 84 days and 195 days. Neg Riba after 105 days, 125 days and 248 days. The screening test was reactive,1.0 score all three times. Neg Hcv Pcr by Rna, qualitative, after 129 days.

Never any Idu or blood transfusions. General health is good,

I have two qs:
1) Is this enough testing for a definite neg result for Hiv/HepB/HepC?
2) For HepC, with the three neg Ribas and 1 neg Pcr, does that mean I had Hcv and cleared it or was never exposed?

You can be confident at this point that you have NOT contacted Hepatitis B, C or HIV.

I do not believe that any further testing is necessary!

You have had negative RIBA on 3 occassions. This is consistent with NOT having been infected. You asked about "exposure" - you can be exposed to any disease (Example you are in a room with someone with the flu would be considered an "exposure") - what you are really concerned about did you get INFECTED. NO--You did not get infected.
