Do emergency rooms run HIV tests on incoming patients?

I have very disturbing symptoms that medical care can't get rid of. I had an emergency room visit in the middle of this summer and now want to know if ER rooms do routine HIV testing...if not then I will have to get one done to ease my mind about these problems. Thanks
