I just found out my partner of 15 years has tested positive (DNA-PCR0 for HIV. We've had no sexual contact in longer than I care to say, but I am in no danger of contracting the virus. What resources are available to me in the San Fernando Valley (CA) to asist me in preparing for this long road ahead. Also how much does his HEP-C flare-up factor in to his outlook?

The good news is that My insurance allows him to be seen at UCLA and his internist has referred him there. I'm looking for resources in the area SPECIFIC to my circumstances

Thanks. I figured the HIV/Hep-C wa a bad combination. I have an appointment with a therapist later in the week. I Hope he can help me with specifics in the area. It's HELL being "married" to a sexual compulsive. I wish there was more info for the effected parties. Have a GREAT weekend, Dr Bush!
