How do you know if a flea bite is infected?

I recieved a flea bite over a week ago and scratched it until I
broke the skin. The bite is on the top of my foot. Yesterday it
felt itchy around the outside of the scab. I rubbed it and I
realized it didn't seem to be healing right in the middle of the
bite. I poured hydrogen poroxide on it and it really foamed. It
still is doing that and I have poured it on the sore many times in
the past 24 hours. I am also putting neosporyn on it. It has a
circular indented well shape in the center of the sore. Could it be
a tape worm infection?
