I keep getting pimples under my armpits. They blow up to pustules and are very painful. How do I clear them up and stop them from occurring?

Hi husky

Perhaps you are allergic to the deoderant you are using? If you have used the same one for a while, you might want to try getting one that is hypo allergenic

If that isn't it, I'm thinking you may have a staph infection going on, which continues to spread to different pores. You may need a course of antibiotics to clear them up for good.

That being said, you can try getting a good antibacterial soap and scrubbing with a loofah sponge a coupe times a day. When the pimples open up, gently squeeze out the stuff inside. Be carefull to wash afterward with the antibacterial soap so the stuff doesn't spread. You might try putting some antibiotic ointment on the areas as well to prevent spread and kill any germs.

If the areas become quite red and inflammed, some hydrocortisone cream is worth a try as well.

If all else fails, I suggest you see a dermatologist for determination of the cause, and subsequent treatment.

Hope this helps,

Kerry
