I have small red bumps on the front top ...

I have small red bumps on the front top portion of my tongue. It started as one bump near the side and it was annoying me. I tried to grind it off with my teeth. When I woke up, I had 10 more on my tongue. My tongue is stiff, lessened ability to taste food, and my throat is sore in the mornings. I have a girlfriend but we have only kissed and these signs appeared before I saw her again. Please let me know what this could be. Thanks!
