I just got over a breast infection from breast feeding. I took antibiotics and now I have a yeast infection in my breast. My Doctor just put me on a cream to help get rid of the yeast. I'm afraid my baby will get thrush if I keep feeding him on the infected side so I was going to just pump and feed him on the opposite side until he goes away. My Dr said I could still give him the pumped milk. This doesnt make sence to me why he could still drink it w/out being at risk and getting the yeast in his mouth. My Dr also said it's because its not in the milk it in the breast. This simply doesnt make sence to me. What do you think?
