My neck and chest keep getting a rash. I have not changed anything in my diet or my detergent. Why could this be happening? It is not anywhere else on my body.

Kerry, I am not sure about that. I have been getting this off and on for over a month now. It is only on my neck, chest and breasts. It does not itch or anything and they are not "pimples", but they get very aggrevated if I bathe or if I get warm. They are less in the mornings and seem to be worse when I am up and on my feet a lot. Strange, I know- but they really are bothering me. Could it have anything to do with my heart or my kidneys?

Kerry-

No- it is not just redness. I have little bumps that resemble acne but are not. They get really red and are raised.

No medicines and no vitamins at this time.

One more quick thing about this. What is an inflamatory process? And what would cause this? I just wanted to check because it has gone away and come back more than once and I wondered what I could be doing to cause it.

Hi

It could be a dermatitis, or an excema. Those both cause inflammation. Anything that is irritating to the skin will cause inflammation. That's why the cortisone should help.

It can be because of an allergy, or not.

If the things I told you don't help, you will want to see your doctor or a dermatologist.

I think they will help though.

Thanks so much- I will go get some of those things tomorrow and watch and see. We will be going out of town for thanksgiving, so I can give it a full week to see if it works.

Thanks for helping to put my mind at ease!

The best to you and yours!
