im having moderate to servere pain in the side of my neck ...

im having moderate to servere pain in the side of my neck around my gland area i went to my doctor today and he does not know what is worng and he gave me and ultra sound and found nothing so now what eles should we do

Already Tried:
just pain managment i have no swelling just severe discomfort and pain in my ear and in my teeth this has been going on for 3 or 4 months it will hurt for a day or two then stop for a few then return and seems to be worse every time
