Why I keep picking huge pieces of dry scalp off of my head?

I have been having an extreme case of dandruff, where there are like huge areas of flakes stuck to my scalp. I have never had this type pf problem before, and I am a little concerened that it could have something to do with my saline breast implants leaking? I could just be paranoid, my implants seem to be okay but I am just thinking of a worst case scenario ...
