I had very foul smelling urine today right after I woke up. It smelled like blood, or like raw meat. No blood, or red, came out though.

It is most likely the start of an infection. Your best bet would be to see your doctor to get tested to determine what type of infection so treatment can be prescribed.

Then there is no infection. Abnormal smell can also be caused by medications and eatting asparagus. If this does continue, please see your doctor to determine what the cause may be. Abnormal odor can be due to urinary tract infection, rectal fistula, ketonuria, and hepatic problems.
