Should I use premarin cream on my son who has a small foreskin glans adhesion at the age of 3? The doctor prescribed it and said if it didn't work he would have to have it surgically removed. I understood this to take care of itself over time as he manipulates it more. I'm very leary about using this cream and the risk of cancer.

Optional Information:
Male , Age: 3

just manually pulling down foreskin

Sometimes it does take care of itself and in some cases it does have to be surgically removed. I would go ahead and use the cream as if not used for a long period of time the risk of cancer is very low and it would be better to try this and see if it does help verses having to take your son in for surgery. You also do need to keep working manually with the foreskin but if the cream and manual pulling are not effective then he would need the surgery to have it removed. This will also help to cut down on the risk of infection that can come along with foreskin adhesion.
