I have a sharp pain in my back it does not hurt to the touch its more like a nagging pain. It hurt when I bend foward. What could this be?

It could be related to a kidney infection or you could have pulled a muscle if it is more of a nagging pain and hurts to bend forward as that pulls on your back muscles. But if you are having sharp sensations then it is more likely related to your kidneys in the lower back area and is best to be seen as if it is a kidney infection you will need antibiotics to heal the infection. If you have not done or remember doing anything that could have caused you to pull any of your back muscles then if it does not subside or has gone on for longer then 12 hours then you should be seen as soon as possible.
