I have been prescribed nystantin which relieves the itching, but then when I don't take it anymore the itching returns, please help! I have been told to keep dry, don't wear tight clothing, I do all that and I still continue to itch

Hello

You might need a stronger prescription strength antifungal cream. Or, it may be that you have developed a secondary infection. You might try mixing your antifungal cream with antibiotic ointment, half and half to see if that helps.

You might also try taking a vaginal suppository for yeast infection to see if this helps.

Make sure your undergarments are made of cotton, and if you wear panty hose, try not to do so every day. Allowing the skin to breath should help as well.

You might also look into the body soap you are using, or even your laundry detergent. Sometimes this can indicate an allergy to this, or to the perfumes in them.

Relist: I still need help.
I wanted to know, what you mean by a secondary problem, and what would be a stronger anti fungal cream. Thank you
