Several weeks ago, my tongue started feeling as if I had burned it with hot food. Then a few weeks ago, I started getting a coated tongue. I also have a bitter taste in my mouth. Food doesn't taste as good as it used to. I do scrape my tongeu, but it really doesn't help; the coating comes right back. Any idea what may be causing this? Thank you! Sounds as though you have a yeast/fungal infection going on. You can try rinsing your mouth with 1/2 water 1/2 peroxide. Also try eating yogurt too (allowing it to sit in your mouth some before swallowing) If there is no change after doing this for a few days then you will need to see your doctor for possible medication.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!
