My wife is in her 35th week of pregnancy, just a few minutes ago she came out of the bathroom and complained about a strange and uncomfortable feeling in her vaginal region. She has what looks to be swollen labia minora and perenium (Sp?). The anus itself is not swollen. She has not felt any contractions, BH or otherwise (This is our second child.) All medical journals and websites that I can find say to wait 24 hours and re-evaluate symptoms, but none were dealing with pregnancy. Please help.
