Please tell me about a lymph node of 2 cm. on the right side of my neck. How serious is this?

This is not serious unless it continues for more than a week or progressively grows larger and accompanied by other symtoms of illness. The lymph nodes act like filters to help rid the body of infection and bacteria. They usually heal theirselves in around 3-5 days. If they stay swollen longer then that you should be seen for further evaluation.
