Had a vaginal hysterectomy 5 weeks ago. Developed a horrible smelling discharge was put on levaquin for 10 days seemed to clear infection but it came back. Doc. then put me on flagyl and cipro but says the lab tests came back and I need to come in and get a shot of rocephrine because e-coli showed up on the lab and the other 2 antibiotics will not treat it, but I'm supposed to stay on the other 2 to treat the other bacteria. What could be going on. I'm not getting any answers.
