I have had several surgeries to my left knee and have stapf infections from pin sites while wearing an exteror fixitor. The last infection was about three months ago. now I have a staph infection in the groin area and was wondering if stapt can move within the body?

Yes it can, but it would generally pick an area where there is another artificial something in the body. Did you perchance have a vein filter placed while you were in the hospital? Are these infections visible or are they under the skin? The groin area-is that a documented staph infection or do you have an enlarged node that you think is staph?
