I have been recently diagnosed with "possible" mononucleosis. My concern is that I don't have all the normal symptoms of mono. About 2 weeks ago I started having severe pain in my finger tips, feet, arms and legs. Then 4 days ago I started running a fever between 100 & 102. I also have severe pain in my head (it even hurts to move my eyes). The pain and fever subside with Advil. I do feel tired and get exhausted doing simple things. I also have been experiencing shortness of breath, sharp chest pains, spinning sensations (even at rest) and MAJOR irritability. There is also stiffness in my neck but not to the point I can move it. Does this sound like mono? My monoSpot test was negative.
