You did great to start the Benadryl cream and Tylenol. Try oral Benadryl for a greater effect. Apply heat to the wound several times a day. If you notice any difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or eyes, etc, you need to go to the ER right away. Also watch for signs of infection over the next couple of days. These include spreading redness to the area of the sting, fever, bodyaches, and swelling. If this answer is helpful please hit the accept button. Thank you.

Reply to James's Post: you said the wound does that mean the swelling of the hand ? because the sting bite is not real visiable. Also how long should the heat be appiled for ? Thank You

Yes, I meant wound meaning the area where the stinger punctured the skin. The area may be a red spot or in the surrounding area of the swelling. Some stings are hard to tell because the stinger is so small. I would apply the heat for 15 minutes at a time. Do this 3-4 times a day. This will help, along with the Benadryl, the swelling and also with pain.
