std?

Sent to Health Experts June 19 05:43 AM

20year old male     Yes, i think i might have an std, i have sores on the tip of my penis, they come and go, but the thing that makes them come back is masturbation. the skin rubs and in the places of friction, the skin turns red like i just rubbed a layer of skin off it, but really its just light masturbation, im not like jerkn the heck out of it. it started about 6 months ago do to my job it is rough for me to get in to the doc, im not sexually active, i did have intercourse about 2 months before this started happening, as far as the sores they don not change color, just red until it heals after about 3-4 weeks, there is no pain really no itching no fever or sickness at all, i am not sure wht is the problem? do i have an std or a skin condition?

Hi

I think you are secribing balanitis , that is inflammation of the head of the penis.

It's not a sexually acquired infection but can be due to excess yeast in the skin.

I'd try an anti-fugal cream twice daily initilly to see if that helps.

These problems are a little more likely if you are diabetic so you might want to consider getting yourself tested.
