Legionnaires Disease is an acute respiratory infection caused by the bacteria legionella. It can cause a wide variety of diseases from a mild cough to pneumonia. Most of the time conditions can worsen within 4-5 days from contact and then start to get better after the 5th or 6th day if treatment is started early with antibiotics.. Most of the time you see symptoms of a mild cough, chest congestion, respiratory distress, and chest pain. I am going to include a link below that will explain about this in even more detail and let me know if you have any further questions.
