This can be the sign of a problem within your prostate so if you have not had a full examination and any testing on your prostate then you should have this performed as soon as possible expecially since you are over the age of 40. Testing on your prostate should now be performed yearly or anytime you see a sign of a problem such as you are seeing now. In some cases it can also be due to a urinary tract infection but that is rare as this mostly affects your urine, but when you see a brown tint to your spern which could be the sign of blood then it is more likely caused from a problem within your prostate so I would recommend that you make an appointment to be seen by your physician for further evaluation and treatment, the sooner the better.
