Have severe itching which after research online I believed was scabies - have treated with Permethrin 5% cream and have also used Kwellada P lotion. Have washed and cleaned and washed and cleaned everthing in Hot water. Still have the severe itching on patches of skin that have small red bumps. Started out on my right elbow, then left wrist (not there anymore) then back of neck and on scalp. Now on my index fingers and under my right breast. My inner ears itch excessively. Is it scabies that's immune to both of the above prescriptions? What do you think?

Hello

I think you may end up having to see a dermatologist.

There is a possibility that what you are experiencing is a fungal infection such as ring worm. You might try an over the counter fungal cream such as lotrimin and see if that helps.

You should see improvement in 5-7 days with it going away within a month if this is what it is.
