I have some bad diarrhea, no fever, conditon has lasted 48 hrs. have tried imodium.

Hello

Here are some things that might help. If they do not you will need to consider seeing your doctor to be tested for parasites, or infection of the bowels that might need antibiotic treatment.

Go on a clear liquid diet until the diarrhea subsides, this is any liquid you can see through. Jello is included, as well as apple juice. Once the loose stools have stopped, proceed to the BRAT diet. Banana, Rice, Applesauce and dry toast. This is a very bland diet. Avoid dairy products and fats during this time as well. If that stays down fine, then you can proceed to other foods slowly.
