Can a tooth infection cause my head to hurt and make me feel dizzy. Also the vain in my temple feels swolen

Probably swollen vein in your temple causing the headache and dizziness not the tooth infection. You may have Temporal Arteritis. The major concern with temporal arteritis is vision loss. I suggest to you to go to an Emergency room.For more informtion please click the link just below:

Reply to V. Yetimyan   M.D.'s Post: I am only 27 and I have felt this way for a couple of months. I have had a ct scan done and it came back okay I do not have any problems with my eyes but do have some of the other things described in the discription of the disease. Tender scalp. tired all the time and sore temple.

This condition is potentially vision threatening, however, if treated promptly, permanent vision loss can be prevented. So i suggest to you get a blood test to rule out Temporal Arteritis as soon as possible.
