This is a little imbarassing but I seem to have an infection going on right now on my penis. I was cut/scraped a little over a week ago on my old toilet seat, (it was one of those padded types) and with in a couple of days, it became painfull and red. it's only maybe half of the top and left side of the head, and a small area also on the top on the shaft right below the head. This would be the area that would touch the seat at times) The rest of the orgin is fine. It looks like a burn of some type, like a chemical burn. It's pussy and very painful. Even very sensitive to water and air. LIke a burn. I have tried to keep it clean and covered with antibiotic "Bacitracin Zinc Ointment USP" and wraped in guaze at all times. I've been doing this now for about 5 days and although it seem to be getting slightly better, it's only slightly. For a 2 1/2 days in the begining, when I urinated, there would be a painful burning sinsation towards the end of urinating, but luckily, that has gone away. I think much of that had to do with the urine touching the inflammed area. My question is basicly, what more can I do to solve this. It does seem to be getting a little better, but the fact that it's taking so long and that it is still segretting flude (lite yellowish puss) and apears to be pealing in that area also, as well as the pain, etc, is making me wonder if I need to seek professional help? Just for extra help in you diagnosis, I'm a 47 year old white male whos not sexually active, and have not been for many months. Any help that you can give is much appriciated. Aloha, Mike
