Dear Customer (name blocked for privacy)-
You need to go to your doctor to get this checked out. Without a physical examination it would be hard to know exactly what is going on.
Possible explinations include:
- You may have an infection in the tissue underneath the nipple, which has created a cyst. Cysts can be very painful, but a doctor will be able to help you treat this.
- If you have any discharge from the nipple this would indicate an infection, something a doctor could also help clear up.
- If you exercise much outdoors, such as running or biking, you may be experience severe chapping, or irritation, of your nipple.
- More seriously, nipple pain in men can be an indication of breast cancer.
Again, because there could be many different conditions causing your pain, you need to get checked out by your doctor as soon as possible.
