Do you feel any pea sized swelling or nodules within your breast. If there are then they need to be seen by a doctor. As for the tenderness and swelling of the lymph glands this would be an indication of infection. And the fact that it has occurred for 3 weeks now would indicate a need to be seen by your primary physician. Blood work can be done to see if any infections are causing your problems under your arm.

I would strongly recommend your making an appointment to go ahead and have this fully checked out.

It can be related to infection in your body. Also, believe it or not men can and do get breast cancer. That is why I asked about any nodules or knots within your breast. If this has been going on for three weeks you really need a doc to check you out.

I have included a link to explain the breast cancer in men. I am not saying this is the case. But you need to be checked.
