Hello,

It sounds like you are suffering from fungal infection. These can occur in patches and scratching can lead to formation of tiny blisters.

Please apply an ointment like Lotrisone that contains both an antifungal and a steroid at least 3 timeas a dya. Keep the area dry as the fungus tends to grow more in moist areas. After a bath dry off the areas completely before applying the ointment.

Avelox will not help much as it is an antibacterial and not an antifungal.

I hope this helps.

Hello,

A fungal infection occurs when the skin is moist and warm as this is an ideal environment for the fungus to grow. Fungal spores are everywhere around us - in the air, in the soil, everywhere and on finding the right environment, they settle down and begin to grow.

It is very common in the summer when sweat tends to keep the skin damp.

An antifungal ointment can kill off the fungal growth and the steroid will control the itching.

I hope this helps.
