My armpits are very painful & feel swollen for 10 days. My Dr. said wait 2 weeks.
I am anxious because of the pain.
I also was diagnosed 2 months ago with Prostate Cancer.

Ask you doctor if he will prescribe some pain meds or let you know is there is an anti-inflammatory such as tylenol that you can take to relieve the pain and swelling. If the pain does not subside and you are still anxious, you should insist on your doctor seeing you sooner than two weeks, even if it is just to put your mind at ease that everything is OK.
